JOHNSON, Peter Cameron April 11, 1938 - January 20, 2012 After living a rich and rewarding life, we sadly announce the passing of a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. Peter passed away peacefully on Friday, January 20, 2012 at the Juravinski Hospital. Peter will be dearly missed by his wife Cathy, his children Greg, Kevin, Scott (Danielle), Cathy (Andy), Tracie (Albert) and Tom (Kylie). He was the proud Papa of eight grandchildren, Jewels, Harper, Joshua, Gabriel, Isaac, Isabella, Quinn and Addison. He will be remembered lovingly by his three sisters Anne, Meim and Faith. Peter was the hospital administrator for the Henderson General Hospital for 31 years. He will be remembered for his quiet strength, caring, and humble devotion to many local and international charitable organizations. His legacy includes being a founding member of the Virtual Y Program of the Hamilton/ Burlington YMCA and The Canadian Friends of Hôpital Albert Schweitzer-Haiti. Thank you to the nurses, doctors, and support staff at the Juravinski Hospital for their compassionate care, especially Dr. Anne Benger and Nurse Wendy. We also thank Dr. Alistair Ingram, Nurse Kristen and the home Hemodialysis team at St. Joseph's Hospital for their care. According to Pete's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place at The Hamilton Golf and Country Club on Saturday, January 28th from 2-5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Pete's memory to The Canadian Friends of Hôpital Albert Schweitzer-Haiti, or the charity of your choice. We love you and we will miss you, Pete

EARTHQUAKE NEWS
Reports on the earthquake response:
Please make your tax deductible Canadian Donations here.
Hôpital Albert Schweitzer Haiti, located 65 kilometres NW of Port‐Au‐Prince, was able to withstand the recent devastating earthquake and is currently operating with full staff caring for patients. Due to the expertise developed over its 54 year history, Hôpital Albert Schweitzer Haiti is one of the few Haitian institutions able to provide desperately needed primary and secondary hospital care for the earthquake victims. The flow of people seeking urgent care is continuing and resources are being mobilized to meet the needs. Thanks to all who have responded so quickly to the urgent need. The hospital's ability to continue providing its essential services depends heavily on the charitable donations it receives. Please give generously. Ian Rawson, Managing Director, Hôpital Albert Schweitzer
